Chantal was a member of the 1994 US Olympic Speedskating Team, and has been coaching the Bemidji Speedskating Club (Pioneer Speedskating) for the last couple of years. The Pioneer Club had been training short track only until last year, when the Hampton Inn purchased the Zamboni (Big Oly) that was formerly at the John Rose Oval.
